The steadily working Anne Heche

She seems to be on a series every year. None of which I watch. Chicago P.D, The Brave, Aftermath, Dig, The Legend of Korra..... Is she any good on these? Is she fucking Thomas Jane? How does she stay so skinny? Drugs?

Great actress actually (see "Wag the Dog" and "Hung" for good examples), one of those that makes odd choices that work. Can make even reading a newspaper ("Wag" again) interesting. Glad she is getting another act and that she survived Ellen, 24 hour lesbianism and mental illness. (Her book is good too).

She sure was good on Another World.

Yes, OP, she's very good in Chicago PD. She (slightly) eased my anger over the ridiculous destruction of the Wendell Pierce character. hope they going her back next season.

I loved her "Men in Trees," mainly for Derek Richardson.

I like her, she makes interesting choices as an actress and does fine work. Delightful in “Men In Trees” and endearing in the sweet and funny “Cedar Rapids”.

She played identical twins for four years on Another World. But she was able to create two totally different characters. Even though the Marley and Vickey characters were identical twins, I could tell which one she was portraying just by the body language. Her Daytime Emmy was well deserved.

I don’t recall “Cedar Rapids” getting much DL attention when it came out, but it was a very funny movie tempered with a surprising sweetness.

Nobody ever said Anne He-She wasn't a very good actor. It's just that that fact often gets lost in all of the batshit.

She wasn't very good in that remake of Psycho, but she was miscast, so it's not really her fault. I've loved her in everything else I've seen her in. She even had a good appearance on Nip/Tuck that she brought a lot of warmth and humanity to.

She is actually a great actress! Just rewatched Birth recently and loved her in it.

She says the sexual abuse she had viosited upon her from her father caused her to crreate an alter ego, Celestria, and that somehow she has healed herself of this delusion. But the idea of another personality--dissociative identity disorder--has largely been dismissed by American psychotherapy, So what was really wrong with her?

I don't believe her in anything. And that nasally voice.

She's a self-conscious actor who is always thinking, "I'm acting".

She did a couple of great indie flicks worth checking out.

I saw her in Catfight a few months ago. While I can't say I greatly enjoyed the film, I appreciated that it was something different than the same old stuff . And it did make some smart points about class, money, and fate. Very disturbing film.
